Welcome to the website of Minster Lovell Cricket Club.
The club was founded in 1896, and in over 100 years, has provided cricket for the people of Minster Lovell and the surrounding towns and villages.
For the 2008 season, the club will field three teams in the Oxfordshire Cricket Association, with teams competing in Divisions 1, 5 and 9.
It is hoped that with a new influx of talent, along with some very promising youth players coming through the ranks, that the club will progress further up the ladder with an eye on promotion.
The club has a very strong youth setup, with teams from under 11 upto under 17, and is also one of the first clubs in the county have received the Clubmark accreditation, meaning your child is guaranteed to be coached with best practices in mind.
As well as a thriving youth setup, the club also boasts five senior teams in total, with a first, second and third XI playing in the OCA League on a Saturday, and an A and B side playing friendly cricket on Sundays.
The club has a second ground at Brize Norton, which is used for all Saturday third XI fixtures as well as a number of friendlies throughout the season.
The club are ambitious to progress both on and off the field, and hopes to continue to develop all its teams in the future.
